R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, AS THE U., S. Environmental Protection Agency has
offered a Grant Amendment to the City of Beaumont approving a Grant
amount of $8,993,250; and,
WHEREAS, this Grant Amendment must be executed by the City
Manager of the City of Beaumont and returned to the Grants Adminis-
tration Division for Headquarters Grant Awards and to the Grants
Administration Branches for State and local assistance within three
weeks after receipt of said Grant Amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute in
behalf of the City of Beaumont Amendment No. 2 to Grant No. C-48--
0975-01-02, and return the same to the Grants Administration Divi-
sion for Headquarters Grant Awards and the Grant Administration
Branches for State and local assistance awards.
