WHEREAS, bids were received on December 20, 1973, for the
construction of the Utility Service Center CCIP Project 11-WU-01);
and,
WHEREAS, the bids received on that day were in excess of
estimated costs for said Project and it is the opinion of the City
Council that said bicb should be rejected and the Project revised
and readvertised;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids received by the City of Beaumont on December 20, 1973,
for the construction of the Utility Service Center are hereby re-
jected and the appropriate City Officials are authorized to revise
the plans and specifications for said Project and readvertise for
bids.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of L" f , 1974.
