WHEREAS, bids had heretofore been received for the furnish-
ing of one (1) 30,000 GVW Winch.Truck for the Fleet Maintenance De-
partment and one (1) suburban type vehicle for the Fire Department;
and,
WHEREAS, because of price increases on trucks and automobiles,
these bids have been withdrawn;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids received from GMC for furnishing one 30,000 GVW Winch
Truck for the Fleet Maintenance Department and one suburban type
vehicle for the Fire Department be and are now hereby rejected, and
the appropriate City Official is hereby given permission to readver-
tise for bids for the furnishing of said vehicles.
