R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Governor, based on the recommendation of the
Criminal Justice Council Executive Committee has awarded the City
of Beaumont a grant for the development of a model recruiting and
selection system in the amount of $44,942; and,
WHEREAS, this grant award must be accepted within thirty
(30) days of the date of the award statement by the City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT.the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an acceptance
of a grant from the Criminal Justice Council for the development
of .a model recruiting and selection system in the amount of $44,942.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument.
