R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Texas Criminal Justice Council has seen fit
to make available funds for the purpose of a Records Management
Study for the Beaumont Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont Police Department is pre-
pared to commit approximately $3,500 in in-kind services of de-
partmental personnel to such a Records Management Study; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont recog-
nizes that such a study is a timely and worthwhile undertaking;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager to
execute an application o the Texas Criminal Justice Council for
funds (not to exceed $14,500) to conduct a Records Management
analysis of the Beaumont Police Department.
