WHEREAS, bids were solicited for furnishing twelve Guar-
dian solid state stepping relays for the Water Reclamation Depart-
ment; and,
WHEREAS, one bid was received in the amount of One Hundred
Sixty -Two and 50/100 ($162.50) Dollars each for total price of
One Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty and no/100 ($1,950.00) Dollars
from Ralph's Industrial Electronics, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid for furnishing twelve Guardian solid state stepping relays
for the Water Reclamation Department should be awarded:to Ralph's
Industrial Electronics, Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the appropriate City Official is hereby authorized to pur-
chase twelve Guardian solid state stepping relays for the Water
Reclamation Department from Ralph's.Industrial Electronics, Inc.
at a price of $162.50 each for a total price of $1,950.00.
