WHEREAS, the acquisition of underground utility ease-
ments for the Capital Improvements Program sewer project is
essential to the construction and maintenance of underground
utilities and'is further considered to be in the best interest
of the City of Beaumont, and the citizenry thereof; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Legal Department be, and it is hereby, directed
to commence with preliminary work for the acquisition of said
underground utility easements, including the retention of
appraisers to appraise said easements.
