A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City.Council finds that it is in -the best
interest of the City of Beaumont and the citizenry thereof to
acquire approximately 384 acres for the public purpose of a
garbage disposal location; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED. -BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY -OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized
to retain the services of an appraiser and surveyor to appraise
and to survey, respectively, a tract of land bounded on the east
by the Neches River and the south by the existing garbage disposal
location, on the west by the existing fresh water canal, and with
the northern boundary to be located by the surveyor so that the
acreage contained will be approximately 384 acres.
