R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Government's Office of Traffic Safety has
a safety program known as the "Community Impact Program" under
which the State will fund a traffic safety coordinator in the
City of Beaumont for.two and one -.half years of a three-year
program; and,
WHEREAS, the City's obligation under this program would
be to fund the traffic safety coordinator for six months of the
program; and.,
WHEREAS, the City desires to apply for funds under the
Community Impact Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to exe-
cute the proper application papers to the proper State agency
for funding of a Community Impact Program.
