A. RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of May, 1973, The City of
Beaumont, Texas, did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas, one certain liven in the amount of $16. 51, including all costs
of recording, covering Lots No. 25 and 26 in Block No. 16 of the
WEST OAKLAND ADDITION to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said
County in Volume 1481 at Page 449; and
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of May, 1973, The City of
Beaumont, Texas, filed with the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas, one certain lien in the amount of $20. 54, including all costs
of recording, covering Lot Numbers 22,. 23 and 24 in Block Number
12 of the SUNNYSIDE ADDITION to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of
said County in Volume 1483 at Page 302; and
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of May, 1973, The City of
Beaumont, Texas,. did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas, one certain lien in the amount of $39. 24, including all costs
of recording, covering Lot Number 27, 4. 5 acres, in Block Number 1
of the WESCALDER FIG ACRES ADDITION to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is recorded in the M & L
Records of said County in Volume 1483 at Page 312; and
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of May, 1973, The City of
Beaumont, Texas, filed with the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas, one certain lien in the amount of $15.41, including all costs
of recording, covering Lot Number 13 in Block Number 20 of the

which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said County in
Volume 1483 at Page 290; and
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of May, 1973, The City of
Beaumont, Texas, did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas, one certain'lien in the amount of $7. 88, including all costs of
recording, covering Lot Number 710 in Block Number 31 of the
BEAUMONT ADDITION to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said
County in Volume 1483 at Page 345; and
WHEREAS, MRS. MARY WARRICK, ROBERTA MOREAU,
MRS. J.. O.. ELLIS ESTATE, A. F. STELLEY and. EMMETT C..
LA.NGHA.M, the owners of said properties, respectively, desires to
pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said liens and
have same released to them;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT;
That KEN RITTER, Mayor, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute
and deliver to the said MRSo MARY WARRICK, ROBERTA MOREAU,
MRS. J. O. ELLIS ESTATE, A. F. STELLEY and EMMETT C.
LANGHAM a release of the above described liens, for and in considera-
tion of the sum aforementioned, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix
the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
