R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Gulf Coast Industrial
Contractors, Inc. executed a certain contract on August 8, 1973,
for the paving of Kingsley Drive from Ohio Street to Dead End at
a total contract price of $34,070.00 based on estimated quantities;
and,
WHEREAS, the sum of $17,483.04 has previously been paid
to Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc. based on actual work
performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and
recommends its acceptance and the final payment of $16,586.96 to
the contractor based on actual work performed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the
aforesaid contract in all particulars and does further authorize
the final payment of $16,586.96 to the said contractor.
