WHEREAS, it is desirable to the City Council of the
City of Beaumont to determine the exact location of any flood
hazard area existing within the city limits; and,
WHEREAS, the Corp of Engineers has indicated they will
perform a study to determine the exact location of'such flood
hazard areas if requested; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont desires
to request such study;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council of the City of Beaumont hereby determines
that it is desirable that a study be made to determine the exact
location of -the flood hazard area in the City of Beaumont and
hereby requests the Corp of Engineers to survey this area in
order to make the determination.
