R E S O L -U 'T I O N
WHEREAS, the City received bids on August 22, 1973, for
furnishing one thousand feet (1,000') of one inch (1"), one and
one-half inch (1-1/2"), and two inch (2"), Galvanized Rigid
Conduit for the
Traffic
and Transportation
Department; and,
WHEREAS,
Marine
& Industrial Supply
Company submitted
a bid for furnishing said Galvanized Rigid Conduit for the
Traffic and Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that -the
bid submitted by Marine & Industrial Supply Company is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Marine & Industrial Supply Company in the amount
of One Thousand Two Hundred Seven and 20/100 ($1,.207.20) Dollars
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
