R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a permit to Ohmstede Machine Works, Inc., for place-
ment of a 1 1/4" air line across Hazel Street right-of-way
according to conditions set forth in said permit.

PERMIT
The City of Beaumont, hereinafter called "City', for
and in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar to it
paid by Ohmstede Machine Works, Inc., its successors and assigns
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hereinafter called
"Permittee". City hereby grants to permittee a permit to place
a 1 1/4" air line under the Hazel Street right-of-way.
This permit is given by the City subject to the follow-
ing conditions:
1. Permittee will either bore or push the
air line under the pavement of Hazel
Street in such a manner as to not damage
the street, and permittee will be respon-
sible for any and all damage done to the
street or any other City property as a
result of the installation of this line.
2. Permittee will coordinate his construction
work with all departments of the City of
Beaumont and all utility companies and
will notify the Traffic & Transporation
Department of the City of Beaumont and
all utility agencies operating in the
City of Beaumont prior to installation
of the air line in question.
3. Installation of the proposed air line
will be done in accordance with all ordi-
nances of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
and statutes of the State of Texas.
4. Should it become necessary for the City
of Beaumont to have the air line which
is the subject of this permit moved for
any reason, all expenses occasioned by
the moving of the air line will be borned
by permittee.
5. Permittee hereby expressly agrees to
indemnify and hold the City of Beaumont

harmless from any and all expenses, suits
or causes of action which may result from
installation of the 1 1/4" air line across
the right-of-way of Hazel Street as pro-
vided for herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Beaumont, Texas, has..
caused these presents to be signed by its City Manager and the
