A RES O L U T I O N
i
WHEREAS, ON July 31, 1973, the City Council received
bids for furnishing the necessary material, equipment, super-
intendence and labor for the construction of Fourth Street, as
Project 11 -ST -10 of its Capital;Improvements Program; and,
I
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted on the project by!Trotti & Thompson in the amount
of $459,769.30 is the lowest and best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY -OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid for the construction of Fourth Street sub-
mitted by Trotti & Thompson is hereby accepted, and the Acting
City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract with
Trotti & Thompson in accordance with its -.bid, the cost of said
construction to be paid from Capital Improvements Program Bond
Funds; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same
and to affix the seal of the City thereto.
