R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City -of Beaumont and Olshan Demolishing
Co., Inc. executed a certain contract on November 10, 1972,
I
for demolition and disposal of -the Mariposa Street Viaduc-t in
the City of Beaumont at a total contract price of Sixty -Nine
Thousand Eight Hundred Eight and No/.100 ($69,888.00) Dollars;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Olshan Demolishing
I
Co!., Inc. have agreed to reduce the contract pric-e by the amount
I
of Two Thousand Nine Hundred and No/100 ($2,900.00) Dollars,
as the City accepts the project "as is"; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and
recommends its acceptance and final payment to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of'the
aforesaid contract in all particulars and does further authorize
the final payment of Sixty -Six Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty

Eight and No/100 ($66,988.00) Dollars to the contractor.
