WHEREAS, on the 18th day of August, 1972, The City of
Beaumont, Texas, did file with the`County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas, one certain lien in the amount of $69.28, including all costs
of recording, covering Lots Number;Seven.(7) and Eight (8) in Block
Number Two (2) of the Pear Orchard Estates Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas„ which said lien is recorded in

the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1445 at Page 457; and
WHEREAS, Abbie Mae Matthews is the owner of said Lots Number
Seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block Number Two (2) of the Fear Orchard
I
Estates ADDITION to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas-
i
and
WHEREAS, The City of Beaumont inadvertently filed said lien
on property other than the property upon which a weed violation was
occurring;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT;

That KEN RITTER, Mayor, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute
and deliver to the said Abbie Maei'Matthews, as owner of the property,
a release of the above described lien and the City Clerk is hereby
i
authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of The City of
Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this the c �p day of June, 1973.
