HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 95 FFFLLJ/jb/6/25/7/3 9.6 A RES 0L'UT10N WHEREAS, on May 31, 1973, the City Council received bids for the construction of a Fire Training Tower, as Project 11-B-03 of its Capital Improvements Program; and, a WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted on the total project by Herman Weber, Inc., in the sum of Two Hundred and Thirty-eight Thousand Four Hundred and Thirty- eight and No/100 ($238,438.00) Dollars and the bid by the said Herman Weber, Inc., on Alternate No. 3 for concealment'of elec- trical conduit in the sum of Three Hundred and Thirty-five and No/100 ($335.00) Dollars is thej lowest and best bid and should I be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY i OF BEAUMONT: That the bid of Herman Weber,.Iric. for the construction of a Fire Training Tower and for Alternate No. 3 -for electrical conduit concealment is hereby accepted,; 'and the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract with Herman Weber, Inc. in accordance with its bid; the cost of that construction to be paid from the funds of the.Capital.Iimprovements Program; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the seal of the City thereto 1973.
