R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received on June 12, 1973, for fur-
nishing aluminum sulphate for municipal purposes for the City
of Beaumont for the period beginning July 1, 1973, and ending
June 30, 1974; and,
WHEREAS, Allied Chemical Corporation, Industrial Chemi-
cal Division submitted a bid for furnishing aluminum sulphate,
which was the lowest and best bid received, and the City Manager
recommended that the bid of Allied Chemical Corporation, Indus-
trial Chemical Division, for the furnishing of aluminum sulphate
be accepted and that a contract be entered into with said Company,
and that aluminum sulphate be purchased from Allied Chemical
Corporation, Industrial Chemical Division, under said contract;
and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
on behalf of the City of Beaumont a contract dated
1973, with Allied Chemical Corporation, Industrial
Chemical Division for the furnishing of aluminum sulphate for
the period beginning July 1, 1973, and ending June 30, 1974;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said con-
tract and to affix the Seal of '.the City of Beaumont thereto:,
