A R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of August, 1972, The City
of Beaumont, Texas, filed with the County Clerk of Jefferson
i
County, Texas, one certain lien;in the amount of $11. 85, including
all costs of recording, covering -;Lot Numbers SEVEN ,(7,): and
EIGHT ,(8)_ in Block Number TWO ,(2); of the PEAR ORCHARD ES-
TATE ADDITION to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said County
in Volume 1445, Page 471; and
WHEREAS, L,.. D. MA.TTHEWS, the owner of said
property, desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the money re-
presented by said lien and have same released to them;
NOW, THEREFORE,,': BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT;

That KEN RITTER, Mayor, be, !and he is hereby authorized to
execute and deliver to the said L'. D. MATTHEWS, a release of
the above described lien, for and in consideration of the sum of

$11. 85, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal
I
of the City of Beaumont thereto.
