A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and J.C.N. Pavers, Inc.
executed a certain contract on October 6, 19723.for the
revision of the north approach of Lindberg Overpass'at a total
contract price of $29,258.00, based on estimated quanti-ties;
and,
WHEREAS, the sum of $24,199.20 has previously been paid
to J.C.N. Pavers, Inc. based on actual work"performed.;.and,
WHEREAS, Earl Deland, Jr., City Engineer, has inspected
the work and recommends its acceptance and the final payment
of $4,208.80 to the 'contractor based on actual work performed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE,IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion -
of the aforesaid contract in all particulars and does further
authorize the final payment of'$4,208.80 to the said contractor.
