A R E S 0 L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City received bids on May 8, 1973, for traffic
signal cable for the Traffic and.Transportation Department to be
used for the CIP Projects; and,
WHEREAS, Econlite submitted a bid for furnishing said
traffic signal cable; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by E'c.onlite is the.. lowest and best bid and should be
accepted and,
WHEREAS, the installation of such traffic signal cable is
a part of the street project of the Capital Improvements Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF'BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Econlite in the amount of $7,199.40 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the Capital Improvements Bond Fund
be expended for said purchase.
PASSED by the City,Counci'l this day of May, 1973.
