A RE S O LUT I O N
WHEREAS, it is considered by the City Council to be
in the public interest to widen, straighten and extend Dowlen
Road north of Gladys Street; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to
retain those persons necessary to complete the preliminary
work, including appraisals.and title reports, for the widen-
ing, straightening and extension of.Dowlen Road, and to make
recommendations to the City 'Council regarding the acquisition
of necessary properties for ,,said purpose.
