R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Miner -Dederick
Construction Corporation entered into a certain agreement to
furnish all labor, superintendence, material and equipment and
to perform all work necessary to construct a new police and
municipal court facility; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been
proposed, under which said Change.Order No. 1 certain -changes
will be made in the specifications to reinstate certain items
which were previously deleted from the original plans and
specifications in order to obtain a bid within budgetary
limitations in the total amount.of $70,189.50;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Acting City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont the -
above -described Change Order No. 1 to the original contract;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to same and to affix the sealiof-the City of Beaumont thereto.
