R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on February�20, 1973, the City Council
received bids for furnishing the necessary material, equip-
ment, superintendence and labor for the construction of an
extension and connection of -three (3) streets, to -wit:
Corley Avenue, Madison Avenue and Sycamore Street, as
Project 11 -ST -05 of its Capital Improvements Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted on the project by J.C.N. Pavers, Inc. in the
amount of $435,914 is the lowest and best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid for the construction of an extension
and connection of Corley Avenue, Madison Avenue and Sycamore
Street submitted by J.C.N. Pavers, Inc. is hereby accepted,
and the Acting City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with J.C.N.,Pavers, Inc. in accordance with
its bid, the cost of said construction to be paid from
Capital Improvements Program Bond Funds; and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the seal
of the City thereto.
