WHEREAS, Earl M. Gilbert and Charles N. Driver have
tendered an easement to the'City of Beaumont for underground
utilities purposes in, upon and across property owned by them
and situated in Jefferson County, Texas, said easement being
dated February 8, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purposes
of said easement and is of the opinion that the acceptance of
said easement for underground utilities purposes is necessary
and desirable and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That said easement tendered by the above named to the
City of Beaumont be and the same is hereby in all things
accepted. ......
PASSED by the City Council this the Lo day. of

consideration to them in hand paid by The City of Beaumont,
the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged
and confessed, -do hereby GIVE and GRANT to said The City of

the right to construct, reconstruct `and maintain underground

son County, Texas, a;portion of_said 59.261 acre
tract having been subdivided into Blue Lake
Estates Unit One to the City of Beaumont, Texas .
plat of which appears in Volume 10, Page
the Map Records of Jefferson County, said herein

fully bounded and described as follows: -
