A R E S 0 LUT ION
WHEREAS, emergency repairs to the Langham Road Sanitary
Sewer have become necessary;,and,
WHEREAS, the hazard created to the public health
requires immediate repair of said sewer; and,
WHEREAS, the emergency situation does not allow time
for a formal bidding procedure;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE'CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, -and he is hereby, authorized to
purchase from Armco Steel Corporation 1,940 feet of 10"
Armco Truss pipe at a total cost of $3,201.0.0 and 11 10" x.6:'
tees at a total cost of $242..00, said pipe and tees being
necessary for.said emergency repairs to.said sanitary sewer.
PASSED by the City Council this the day of
February, 1973.
