R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Stephens Contracting
Company entered into a certain agreement dated November 17,
1972, by which agreement Stephens Contracting Company agreed
to provide material, equipment, and labor for the.construction
of a water transmission main on Major Drive; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 to said contract has been
proposed; under which said Change Order No. 2 said line will
be relocated at a savings to the City of approximately $5,623;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be., and he is.hereby, authorized to
execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described
Change Order No. 2.to the original contract; and,
BE IT.FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same
and to affix the seal of the City thereto.
