A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received on November 28, 1972, for
furnishing reef oyster shell for municipal purposes for The
City of Beaumont for the period beginning January 1, 1973, and
ending December 31, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, Keown Supply Company submitted a bid for
furnishing reef oyster shell, which was the lowest and best
bid received, and the City Manager recommended that the bid
of Keown Supply Company.for the furnishing of reef oyster shell
be accepted and that a contract be entered into with said

Company, and that reef oyster shell be purchased from Keown
Supply Company under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Keown Supply Company be accepted and the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on behalf
of the City of Beaumont a contract with Keown Supply Company
for the furnishing -of reef oyster. shell for the period beginning
January 1, 1973, and ending December 31, 1973; and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contract and to
affix the seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
