R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received on November 28, 1972,
for furnishing limestone base material for municipal
purposes for the City of Beaumont for the period beginning
January 1, 1973, and ending December 3.1, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, Davidson Construction Materials, Inc.
submitted a bid for furnishing limestone base material,
which was the lowest and best bid received, and the City
Manager recommended that the bid of Davidson Construction
Materials, Inc. for furnishing limestone base material be
accepted and that a contract be entered into with said
Company, and that said limestone base material be purchased
from Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. under said
contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. be
accepted and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont a contract
with Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. for furnishing
limestone base material for municipal purposes for the
period of January 1, 1973, to December 31, 1973, at.the
prices as specified in their bid; and the City Clerk is
hereby,authorized to attest to said contract and to affix
the seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
