R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received on November 28, 1972)
for furnishing aggregate for seal coat and cold mix asphalt
for municipal purposes for the City of Beaumont for the
period beginning January 1, 1973,,and ending December 31,
1973; and,
WHEREAS Servtex Materials Company submitted a bid for
furnishing Grade 1, Type B and Grade 2, Type B aggregate
for seal coat, which was the .lowest and best bid,received,
and the City Manager recommended that the bid of
Servtex Materials Company for furnishing of Grade 1, Type B
and Grade 2, Type B aggregate'for seal coat be accepted and
that a contract be.entered into' with said.Company, and that
said aggregate for seal.coat.be purchased from Servtex
Materials Company under sai:d.contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF.THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Servtex Materials Company be accepted and
the City Manager be, and he is hereby', authorized to execute
on behalf of the City of Beaumont a contract with Servtex
Materials Company,for furnishing Grade 1, Type B and Grade 2,
Type B aggregate for seal coat for municipal purposes for
the period of January 1, 1973,.to'December 31, 1973, at the
prices as specified in their bid;-and.the City Clerk is
hereby authorized to'attest to said contract and to affix
the seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this day of December,
1972.
