R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Stephens Contracting
Company entered into a certain agreement dated November 17,
1972, by which agreement Stephens Contracting Company agreed
to provide material, equipment and labor for.'the.constructi-on
of'a water transmission main on Major Drive,; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been
proposed, under which -said Change Order No. l certain changes
will be made in the specifications to substitute 811 values
in lieu of 601 values and to omit electro.bonding and corrosion
survey and report, at no additional cost to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City.Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described
Change Order No. 1 to the original contract; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City Clerk is.hereby authorized to attest to same
and to affix the seal of the City thereto.
