A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, on November 10, 1972, the City received
bids for purchasing the following vehicle: 1 - 2 ton step
van for the Water Distribution Department; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Motor Company submitted a bid
for furnishing said vehicle; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that
the bid submitted by Beaumont Motor Company is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Beaumont Motor Company for the
furnishing of 1 _ 2 ton step van for the Water Distribution
Department at the total price of $3,027.10 with trade-in
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, authorized
to release the title to the following vehicle to Beaumont
Motor Company, said vehicle being traded in for the vehicle
mentioned above:
1968 Chevrolet step van Vehicle No. 824
PASSED by the City Council this the /2A day of
December , 1972.
