A RESOLUT ION
WHEREAS, on November 27, 1972, the City Council re-
ceived bids for the construction of a new Police -Municipal
Court Facility, as Project 11-B-01 of its Capital Improvements
Program; -and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted on the total project by Miner -Dederick Construc-
tion Corporation, in the amount of $2,737,200.00 is the lowest
and best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Miner -Dederick Construction Corporation for
the construction of a new Police -Municipal Court Facility is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Miner -Dederick Construction Corpora-
tion in accord with its bid, the cost of said construction to
be paid from the funds of the Capital Improvements Program;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and
to affix the seal of the City thereto.
