R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, a request was made of the Planning and
Zoning Commission that the name of Millard Street located
between South Street and Smart Street, be.changed to Royal
Purple Drive; and,
WHEREAS, the only address on Millard Street is
Beaumont High School; and,
WHEREAS, adjacent property owners submitted a
petition in favor of the change; and,
WHEREAS,such request was considered, approved and
recommended by said Planning and Zoning Commission and
referred to the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That Millard Street located between South Street and Smart
Street be, and the same is hereby, changed and shall hence-
forth be known as Royal Purple Drive.
PASSED by the City Council this ILday of
November, 1972.
