A R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on October 10, 1972, the City received bids
for the demolition and disposal of Mariposa Street Viaduct
and its approaches; and
WHEREAS, Olshan Demolishing Company, Inc. submitted
a bid in the amount of $69,888.00, with 80 working days to
complete, for such demolition and disposal of Mariposa Street
Viaduct and its approaches; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Olshan Demolishing Company, Inc. is the best
bid and should be accepted, and that a contract with Olshan
Demolishing Company, Inc._ for such demolition and disposal
of Mariposa Street Viaduct and its approaches be executed
and that such demolition and disposal of Mariposa Street
Viaduct and its approaches be accomplished under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Olshan Demolishing Company, Inc. in the
amount of $69,888.00, with 80 working days to complete, be
accepted, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont a contract with
Ol§han:Demolishing Company, Inc. for the demolition and dis-
posal of Mariposa Street Viaduct and its approaches in accord-
ance with the plans and specifications of said contract; and
that the Acting City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized
to attest to said contract and to affix the seal of the City
of Beaumont thereto.
