A R E_ S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Olshan Demolishing
Company, Inc. executed a certain contract on April 19, 1972,
for demolition and clearing of sites on Blocks 11 and 12 of
the Original Town of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Pitts, Phelps and White, Architects for the
City, has inspected the work and recommend its acceptance and
final payment to the contractor; and,
WHEREAS, there is a balance due Olshan Demolishing
Company, Inca of $4,998.00; and,
WHEREAS, said demolition and removal work on both Blocks
11 and 12 was done for the purpose of preparing said blocks
for construction of the library and police facilities under
the Capital Improvements Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City of Beaumont hereby accepts completion of the
aforesaid contract in all particulars and does further author-
ize the final payment of $4,998.00 to Olshan Demolishing
Company, Inc., said sum to be paid from Capital Improvements
Program Bond Funds.
