A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Barco Painting, Inc.
executed a certain contract on June 20, 1972, and also executed
Supplement No. 1 to said contract dated August 15, 1972, for the
cleaning and painting of the exterior of the elevated water
storage tank located at Harriot and Kenneth Streets at the total
contract price of $9,530.00; and,
WHEREAS, the sum of $4,288.50 has previously been paid
to said Barco Painting, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, C. J. Clark, Water Production Superintendent,
and Underwood Hill, Water Utilities Director, have inspected
the work and recommend, its acceptance and final payment to the
contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the
aforesaid contract in all particulars and does further authorize
the final payment of $5,241.50 to the said contractor.
