A R'E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 29, 1972, the City received bids
for the Revision of Intersection, Washington Blvd. at Houston
Street; and
WHEREAS, Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc. sub-
mitted a bid in the amount of $45,441.00 for such Revision of
Intersection, Washington Blvd. at Houston Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc. is
the lowest and best bid and should be accepted, and that a
contract with Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc. for such
Revision of Intersection, Washington Blvd. at Houston Street
be executed and that such Revision of Intersection, Washington
Blvd. at Houston Street be accomplished under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc. in the
amount of $45,441.00 be accepted, and the City Manager be, and
he is hereby, authorized to execute on behalf of the City of
Beaumont a contract with Gulf Coast Industrial Contractors, Inc.
for the Revision of Intersection, Washington Blvd. at Houston
Street in accordance with the plans and specifications of said
contract; and that the Acting City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
authorized to attest to said contract and to affix the seal of
the City of Beaumont thereto.
