A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont has
heretofore issued notice to bidders that sealed bids will be
received at the office of the City Clerk until Thursday,
September 14, 1972, for furnishing necessary.materials, equip-
ment, superintendence and labor for construction of a police
and municipal court facility; and,
WHEREAS, Pitts, Phelps and White, the City's architect
for said project, has recommended to the City Council that the
time for receiving bids be extended from September 14, 1972,
until September 21, 1972; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is
in the best interest of the City of Beaumont to extend the said
time period as requested by the City's architect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the time limit for the receipt of sealed proposals for the
furnishing of necessary materials, equipment, superintendence
and labor for construction of a police and municipal court
facility be, and that same is hereby, extended until 10°00 A.M.,
Thursday, September 21, 1972. This Resolution shall have no
effect on any other part or provision of the original notice to
bidders.
