R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Board of Equalization under date of
August 30, 1972, certified the assessment roll of property of
The City of Beaumont for the year 1972 by stating that the
statements contained in the certificate of the Assessor and
Collector of The City of Beaumont are true and correct; and,
WHEREAS, the certificate of Leon L. Burnett, Assessor
and Collector of The City of Beaumont, certified the assess -
mens roll of property for the year 1972 to be as follows:

WHEREAS, the Assessment Roll with the approval of the
Board of Equalization has been returned to the City Council
and the Council is of the opinion that same is correct and
should be approved and adopted as the Assessment Roll to be
used for the collection of taxes for the current year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Assessment Roll of property for the year 1972, showing
total taxable property of $438,694,460, as certified by Leon L.
Burnett, Assessor and Collector, and as certified by the Board
of Equalization, is hereby approved and the same is adopted
as the Assessment Roll of The City of Beaumont to be used
for the collection of taxes for the current year of 1972.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized
to sign the certificate of the Tax Assessor and Collector and
the Board of Equalization as approved by this Council as of
September 5, 1972.

I, Leon L.'Burnett, Assessor and Collector of the City of Beaumont, do solemnly
swear that the rollto which this is attached containsa full and correct list of all the
real and personal property subject to taxation in the City of Beaumont so far as I have
been able to ascertain the same and the assessed value set down in the proper column
opposite the several kinds and descriptions of property is the true and correct valuation
thereof as.ascertained by me and the footings of the several columns in said rolls and
the tabular statement is correct as I verily believe.
