WHEREAS, the Governor of Texas, based on the recommenda-
tion of the Criminal Justice Council Executive Committee, on
July 14, 1972, has awarded the City of Beaumont a grant in the
sum of $22,047 for the utilization of a Regional Police Legal
Advisor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
said grant on behalf of the City of Beaumont and to execute an
appropriate agreement for the acceptance of said grant.
