A R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Governor of Texas, based on the recommen-
dation of the Criminal Justice Council Executive Committee, on
July 14, 1972, has awarded the City of Beaumont a grant in the
sum of $98,680.00 for the utilization of a police radio network
in the systematic training medium;
NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be; and he is hereby, authorized to
accept said grant on behalf of the City of Beaumont and to ex-
ecute an appropriate agreement for the acceptance of said grant.
