A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously appointed the
firm of SET Group Associated Architects as architects for the
fire training facility improvement under the Capital Improve-
ments Program, and has previously authorized its City Manager,
Charles V. Hill, to negotiate a contract with the said firm; and
WHEREAS, a proposed contract has been prepared and
approved by the legal office and approved by the staff, and
each councilman has been provided a copy of said proposed
contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
execution of said contract is in the best interest of the City
of Beaumont and its citizenry;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE -CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to ex-
ecute said contract for and in behalf of the City of Beaumont
with the firm of SET Group Associated Architects for the fire
training facility improvement project of the Capital Improve-
ments Program, as that program was established by the vote of
the citizens of the City of Beaumont; and the City Clerk is
authorized to attest said contract and to affix the Seal of
the City of Beaumont thereto.
