R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in order to obtain funds from the Federal
Civil Defense Department for the construction of the Police
and Municipal Court facility, it is necessary to agree to
comply with certain requirements of the Civil Defense Depart-
ment; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute for and in behalf of the City of Beaumont Civil Defense
Forms 748 of March, 1972, and 749 of March, 1972, and a form
providing for "Equal Opportunity Provisions for the Attachment
to Each Project Application which May Involve a Construction
Contract Exceeding $10,00011, and the execution of these
instruments for and in behalf of the City of Beaumont to be
submitted to the Department of Civil Defense is hereby, in
all respects, ratified.
