HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 28 DDDKEWJr/im/7/22/ R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the developers of Dowlen West Addition, Sections VI and VII, Lots 16-29, Block 8; Lots 14-20, Block 9; Lots 6-19, Block ll; Lots 1-15, Block 12; Lots 1-13, Block 13; have completed the street, drainage, water line and sanitary sewer improvements serving said addition; the improvements on Stacewood Drive, Madrid Drive, Knollwood Drive and Sharon Circle consist of five inch (5") reinforced, cotncrete pavement with six inch (6") integral concrete curb, twenty-seven feet (27') in width, back of curb to back of curb; and the developers of said addition are desirous of having these improvements accepted and maintained by the City; and, WHEREAS, the city engineer recommends that said improvements qualify for acceptance for permanent maintenance; and the City Council is of the opinion that the said improve- ments should be accepted and maintained by the City of Beaumont; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the street, drainage, water line and sanitary sewer improvements serving Dowlen West Addition, Sections VI and VII as above described be, and the same are, hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and shall be continuously maintained by the said City. PASSED by the City Council this the day of 1972. - Mayor -
