A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Mar -Len, Inc.
entered into a certain agreement dated October 15, 1971, by
which agreement Mar -Len, Inc. agreed to provide material,
equipment and labor for the construction of certain improve-
ments to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 to said contract has been
proposed, under which said Change Order No. 2 certain changes
will be made in the specifications to provide for draining
chlorine contact facility and for protection for control wiring,
resulting in an additional cost to the City of $3,765.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described
Change Order No. 2 to the original contract to be effective
as of July 11, 1972; and be it further resolved that the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the
Seal of the City thereto.
