R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on June 6, 1972, the City received bids for
the construction of a Neighborhood Recreational Building to
be located at the Rogers Park for the City of Beaumont, Texas;
and,
WHEREAS, Winter King and Son submitted a bid in the
sum of $35,232, with 80 working days to complete the work,
for construction.of the Neighborhood Recreational Building
at Rogers Park for the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Winter King and Son is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted and a contract.entered into with
Winter King and Son for said construction of the Neighborhood
Recreational Building at Rogers Park for the City of Beaumont,
Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Winter King and Son be accepted and the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on be-
half of the City of Beaumont the contract with Winter King and
Son for the construction of the Neighborhood Recreational
Building at Rogers Park for the City of Beaumont, in accordance
with specifications submitted to bidders, for the sum of
$35,232,with 80 working days to complete the work; and the
City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contract
and to affix the seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
