A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the developers of Fleetwood Addition, Blocks
6 thru 11, have completed the street, drainage, water line,
and sanitary sewer improvements serving said addition, except-
ing Edmonds Avenue (escrow money has been deposited with the
City to insure the construction of Edmonds Avenue on or before
August 31, 1972; the improvements on Blossom Drive, Pierre
Drive, Simpson Drive and Simon Drive consist of five inch (5")
reinforced concrete slab with six inch (6") lime treated sub -
grade and open ditch drainage; and the developers of said
addition are desirous of having these improvements accepted
and maintained by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the city engineer recommends that said impro-
vements qualify for acceptance for permanent maintenance; and
the City Council is of the opinion that said improvements
should be accepted and maintained by the City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the street, drainage, water line, and sanitary sewer.im-
provements, as above described in Fleetwood Addition, be and
the same: are hereby accepted by The City of Beaumont and shall
be continuously maintained by the said City.
