R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Beaumont requires
this Council, prior to the end of the fiscal year, to designate
one or more qualified public accountants who shall make an
independent audit of accounts and other evidence of financial
transactions of the City government prior to the end of each
fiscal year.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
on behalf of The City of Beaumont a Contract with William C. Key,
a Certified Public Accountant of this City, and that said William C.
Key is hereby designated to make the annual independent audit
of accounts and other evidence of financial transactions of the
City government for the 1971-1972 fiscal_year, and to this end
he shall have the full cooperation of each office and department
of the City as may be required and requested, and that the said
William C. Key shall make interim reports to this Council or as
requested by this Council in addition to the final report and
summary of final report as contemplated by the Charter.
